Bald Eagles

I was visiting family and took a day trip to Conowingo Dam in Darlington, Maryland to photograph some Bald Eagles.

There weren’t many out and about on this morning, but the ones that were put on quite an interesting show.

Conowingo has become quite the gathering spot for Bald Eagle photographers, and today was no different.

Panama City Real Estate Photography

Here is some new Panama City Real Estate Photography.

I was contacted by Diane McKay of Coldwell Banker, Carroll Realty to photograph this 4,000+ square foot home in the Sand Hills area of Panama City, Florida.

Sunrise Panama City Beach

Sunrise at Panama City Beach

I got up early to catch the sunrise at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach, FL.  The sun made a very brief appearance before a heavy thunderstorm rolled in over the Gulf of Mexico.  I had hoped to get some more Florida wildlife images, but the storm was just too much.

Ray Wishart Memorial

Ray Wishart, a beloved teacher for four decades, outstanding photographer, and dedicated deacon, father and grandfather, died following a tragic bicycle accident. Hundreds attended a memorial service at the high school where he taught. I was honored to be asked to be one of several photographers to document the service.

Queer Family Wedding

Queer Family Wedding

So, I was sitting around the house on Saturday, August 13, rehabbing from minor foot surgery, when I was contacted by a fellow Panama City Beach area photographer who was in a bind.  She had a wedding booked for that evening but had to leave town suddenly to attend to a family emergency.  I was more than happy to help out, because I was in a somewhat similar situation a few years ago.

I had all of about 90 minutes to plan, charge batteries, pack my gear and head to the location.

The wedding was originally scheduled to be held outdoors, but had to be moved inside because of impeding bad weather.

I present to you Jeffrey and Jessica Queer.
